Birmingham Air Conditioning Services is now SafeWorkforce accredited

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve added another accreditation to our belt. Birmingham Air Conditioning Services is now SafeWorkforce accredited, alongside our existing FGAS, SafeContractor and REFCOM certifications.

What that actually means

SafeWorkforce is a health and safety consultancy that works independently to SafeContractor, checking that our policies, procedures and site practices hold up to scrutiny rather than just sitting in a folder somewhere. That covers everything from how we manage risk on site to how our engineers are trained and supervised.

For a company that’s been installing and manufacturing air conditioning systems since 1995, this isn’t a box-ticking exercise. Our engineers work in occupied homes, live commercial buildings and plant rooms every week. Getting the health and safety side right isn’t optional, it’s the job.

Why we’re bothering to tell you

Anyone can put a badge in their website footer. What SafeWorkforce accreditation actually confirms is that an independent expert has looked at how we run our business and signed off on it. Combined with SafeContractor and REFCOM, it means clients working with us, whether that’s a facilities manager booking a commercial installation or a homeowner getting a split system fitted, know they’re dealing with a company that takes this seriously.

It also fits with how we’ve always worked. We design and manufacture our own equipment at our factory here in Birmingham rather than just installing whatever a manufacturer ships us, and we’re not tied to any single brand. Health and safety accreditation is part of the same approach: build things properly, on our own terms, and be able to prove it.

What this means for you

If you’re looking for an air conditioning contractor, whether for a single domestic unit or a bespoke commercial AHU system, our accreditations are there so you don’t have to take our word for it. FGAS, SafeContractor, REFCOM and now SafeWorkforce all sit behind every job we take on.
