Birmingham Air Conditioning Services is a family-run business founded in 1995 with one simple belief: our customers deserve impartial advice and the right solution for their space, not just the system that suits a particular manufacturer.
More than 30 years later, that’s still at the heart of everything we do. Because we’re completely independent, we can recommend the system that genuinely works best for your building, your needs and your budget. That might be a single air conditioning unit for a bedroom or a complete air handling system for a hospital ward.
Since we started, we’ve completed more than 1,000 installations across the West Midlands and the UK, and our work has even reached as far as Africa. We’re proud to work with homeowners and businesses of all sizes, as well as NHS trusts, government organisations and some of the UK’s largest retailers.
We’ve also developed our own in-house manufacturing expertise – something few independent air-conditioning companies can offer.

Manufacturing has always been part of Birmingham’s story, and it’s an important part of ours too. From our factory in Garretts Green, we draw on that proud local tradition to design and build bespoke Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Air Conditioning systems in-house.
It means we can create a system around the specific needs of your building, rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution. It’s a specialist capability that few air conditioning companies can offer and one we’re genuinely proud to continue here in Birmingham.
